Follow the below steps to configure your SSO login with OneLogin.
In the OneLogin Admin Console, go to Applications list (Applications
-> Custom Connectors
)
Click on New Connector
Name this custom connector BalkanID
. Additionally, upload a logo for for BalkanID to help your users identify this easily later on. Under the Sign on method, select OpenID Connect
. Under the Redirect URI, add https://app.balkan.id/authn/self-service/methods/oidc/callback/onelogin-XXXXXX
where XXXXXX
is your Tenant Name.
Hit Save. Once saved, you can see the connector to look like this:
Click on the Add App to Connector
. This will open a screen similar to:
In case you want to add a description to it or make changes, feel free to edit here. Then click Save .
Next, navigate to Applications
-> Applications
. You will see the Custom connector that you had previously created. Click on this.
Navigate to SSO
. Retrieve the Client ID
,Client Secret
and Issuer URL
and send them to BalkanID using a secure channel. You can find the the above data here:
Go to the login URI: https://app.balkan.id/?oidc=onelogin-XXXXXX
where XXXXXX
should be the name of your OneLogin account. Your account will be setup!
The steps to setup OneLogin SSO for every user who previously already have a BalkanID application account (used to login via email & password or any prior SSO you already had in place) are as follows:
Go the company specific OneLogin SSO link
Sign in with email & password or any prior SSO you already had in place. Then head to "Profile" -> Setup OneLogin SSO.
Logout and log in with OneLogin SSO.
The above is just a one-time activity that needs to be carried out by every existing user. Going forward, they can just login using OneLogin SSO.
